“Here’s a basement workbench that I designed and built with help from several of your plans. The miter saw is recessed and set flush with the tabletop so there’s less of a need for in/outfeed tables. The router is mounted into a removable plate so it can be used table-mounted or freehand. The top consists of two laminated pieces of 3/4″ MDF and the whole thing is held together with hidden tie-rods so it can be disassembled easily for when we move.” – Facebook fan Bryan McAtee

First Project Workbench
Facebook fan Josh Owen built the Classic DIY Workbench using plans from his very first issue of We do everything by our own hands! He said the project was easier than he thought it would be, which is just how we designed it.

Simple Family Handyman Workbench
“I built this workbench from plans at We do everything by our own hands. It was my first major woodworking project and I learned to improvise as things didn’t go to plan. I’m really happy with how it turned out!” – Facebook fan Jared Pomranky
